The Long Creek boys basketball team remained winless on the season dropping a pair of TriCo League games to Ukiah and Burnt River on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 17-18.
On Friday, Ukiah put on a full court press in the first quarter, which gave Long Creek a lot of problems, then went on to defeat the Mountaineers 49-31.
Against Burnt River on Saturday, Long Creek coach James Hixenbaugh said the team played a lot better and shot the ball well. A final score was not available.
The losses drop the Mountaineers' record to 0-5 in the TriCo League and 0-14 overall.
