Madden named Ford Family Foundation award recipient

EUGENE - Caitlin Madden of John Day was among 50 aspiring students who received scholarships through the Ford Opportunity Program for the 2002-03 school year.

The Ford Family Foundation makes this special scholarship available to single parents by providing financial assistance, counseling and support services. Since 1996, more than $5.3 million has been awarded through the program.

Madden is studying education/teaching at Lane Community College.
