JOHN DAY – There is a location change for the Master Gardener classes, held by the Grant County office of Oregon State University Extension.

 The botany basics class, 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, will be held at Grant Union High School, but all others will be at the Grant County Regional Airport.

 The rest of the schedule is as follows:

 • Wednesday, Jan. 19: Native plants, by Joan Henry, 5-8 p.m.

 • Wednesday, Jan. 26: Vegetable gardening, by Joan Henry, 5-8 p.m.

 • Saturday, Feb. 5: Pruning, by David Cowan; bugs, by Janice Cowan, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

 • Wednesday, Feb. 9: Soils, fertilization and lawns, by Gary Delaney, 5-8 p.m.

 • Wednesday, Feb. 16: Plant problems and diagnosis, by Neil Bell, 5-8 p.m.

 • Saturday, Feb. 26: Plant pathology, by Phillip Hamm, 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

 • Saturday, March 5: High-altitude gardening, by Lance Barker (will travel from the Extension office to Izee), 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

 • Wednesday, March 9: Flower container, by Mary Walker, 5-8 p.m.
