CANYON CITY – A free program to help people understand their Medicare benefits, present and future, is offered at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the Canyon City Community Hall.

State Medicare advocates Donna Delikat and Cynthia Hylton will present the program. No registration is required.

The program will answer questions from those new to Medicare, as well as family and caregivers helping people on Medicare.

The program is offered courtesy of Senior Health Insurance Benefits Assistance Program (SHIBA), an unbiased, state-sponsored, federally funded program aimed at assisting Medicare eligible individuals.
