There wasn't anything too world shattering for the past couple of weeks except my computer was not working properly and we missed a week of senior news.

Van Richards, Bodean Andersen, Betty Maynard, Clyde Cavender and her daughter, Susan Hyde all celebrated August birthdays and were honored.

We received news that LuElla Neal is now living at Canyon Creek Guest Home. I'm sure she'd appreciate a visitor if you are in the area.

On Sept. 2, tunafish sandwiches were served with cheesy soup, green salad and chocolate and vanilla pudding. Thirty attended and Kevin Metcalfe is considered a regular attendee now.

Our fearless leader, Mardy Jensen, drove a busload of seniors to Spray for the Old-time Fiddlers show on Sept. 6.Certificate winners were Ruth Peterson, free meal; Betty Maynard, certificate from Touch of Country; and Ellen Kellogg, Chester's Thriftway.
