One of the most popular meals of the year was served to 31 Monument seniors on Nov. 5 - turkey and dressing, cranberries, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, peas and carrots and pumpkin pie with whipped topping. An additional 14 meals were taken to homes. As usual, it was very tasty.

Thelma Williams was presented with the free meal; Van Richards, certificate from Len's Drug; and Jack Cavender, Les Schwab.

Visitors included Sherry Helms of Spray/Richland, Louella Neal's daughter, Blanche and Derrel McCaw of Dallas, Ore., Also attending were Mary McKern from Mt. Vernon and Barbara Brady of John Day who brought a message about the Mt. Vernon Grange's Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 16.
