LONG CREEK - A special election to recall Dan Morrow from the City Council was successful Feb. 13, with 45 people saying yes to his ouster, while 40 people voted in favor of him keeping his council seat. The outside of three ballot envelopes weren't signed; so they weren't opened. The county clerk mailed 131 ballots to city voters.

The recall leaves the City Council with two members, Eugene Crump and Leroy Duncan, and two empty seats. Mr. Crump is reportedly considering resigning.
