Mountain Streams graces Main Street with opening

Mountain Streams opens on Main Street. The Eagle/Marissa Allen

The waterfall has been turned on and the last light has been plugged in.

Mountain Streams, specializing in electrical supplies, lighting, pond supplies, lawn irrigation, garden decor and wild bird supplies, opened the doors for its long-anticipated grand opening on July 2.

Inside you can find all of your electrical, lawn irrigation and decor needs. Kathy Rogers of Mt. Vernon helped with the design of the building and painted the mural inside.

Operated by S & C Electric, the family-owned business is run by Dotty, Steve, Tobey and Tye Parsons and is at 301 W. Main St. in John Day. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. To contact Mountain Streams, call (541) 575-0092.
