JOHN DAY – Changes are in the air – and online – at the Grant County Regional Airport.

Airport manager Patrick Bentz has announced a new logo and website,, aimed at providing information about the facility, promote its use and assist in marketing Grant County.

The logo features a plane jetting out from a star – indicating John Day – centered in an outline of Grant County.

Airport Commission president Ron Lundbom said, “The new website will give us the means for reaching many more pilots who will be more inclined to visit our facility and enjoy the many amenities Grant County offers.”

Lundbom added that it will offer a venue for promoting the facility and an opportunity for renting it out for groups and events.

The website includes photos of the facility, aircraft and the 360-degree views; a calendar of events; airport specifications; and several informational links.

To sign up for the Grant County Regional Airport’s new eNewsletter, “Glide Path,” or other information, use the contact form on the website, call 541-575-1511, or visit the airport’s Facebook page.
