Nikki Zogg, administrator for Coos County Public Health, announced today she will resign on March 21 due to "a difference in leadership philosophy within the organization." She said she will be on leave next week, but will be back March 17 to wrap up things.

Zogg took over the position last April from Francis Smith.

She was instrumental in establishing the Community Health Improvement Program in the county, which aimed to make the community healthier by imposing specific goals for area leaders to implement.
