Dennis Harl Round, 61, of Dayville, died June 27, 2009 in Prineville. A graveside service was held July 3 at the Dayville Cemetery, with Pastor Skip Inscore officiating.

Mr. Round was born July 12, 1947 in Monument, to Kenneth Harl and Margie Mae (Coffin) Round. He graduated from Dayville High School in 1965 and attended one year at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario. He was employed as a truck driver.

In 1970 he married Donna Boyer at the First Baptist Church in John Day. They had two children, Tonya and Ty. They later divorced.

He loved sports of all kinds. He enjoyed watching games on TV and attended ball games in Dayville. He loved doing fun things with his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed their company. He never knew a stranger.

He was disabled the last few years of his life.

Survivors include his daughter, Tonya (Nathan) Buffi and their son, Nicholas of Boise, Idaho; son, Ty (Amber) Round and their two daughters, Taiana and Maleia of Boise, Idaho; mother, Margie Round of Dayville; and older brother, David Round of Prineville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Round, and a younger sister, Diane Haefer.
