Our tables were prepared early on Jan.12, by Amos C., Ottis G., Jim H., Marvin C. and Buzz H. To prevent anyone from being cold during the meal, our heat was turned up.

Beef stew, green salad, corn bread and chocolate cake hit the spot for our cold weather.

Buzz delivered six take-outs while Eula T. greeted 46 attending. Ruth Johns asked the blessing and Buzz led the flag salute. Welcome to our first-timers, "Pots" Stites and James Teeter.

The gift certificate from Prairie Drug and Hardware went to Edna Rettie, the one from the Lunch Box Deli went to Sandi Rennels and Jack Pickle won the haircut from Mort's Barber Shop.

Lorna Askew and Leslie Davis brought Sim Hendrix, Lola Crabtree, Bea Johnson and Elva Lloyd from the Blue Mountain Nursing Home to join us.

Our servers today were Norma Rynearson, Helen Cardwell, Bonnie Pickle, Marjorie Harris and Eula Thompson. We also helped Gene, Edna and Loise L. clear the kitchen.

Ben Luethe Jr. joined Pam, Jim, Marvin, Ottis, Billy, Cleo and Buzz in clearing and cleaning the dining area.

Helen Bogart announced a trip was planned to Baker City on Jan. 18. If you are interested in going call Helen. Also remember Feb. 6 is the dinner for the Tsunami Aid - Northwest Medical Team.
