Early birds setting up six tables were Amos Cardwell, Ottis Garrett, Buzz Harris and Marvin Casebeer. Seven meals went out. Eula Thompson greeted 46 attending. She even showed pictures of her granddaughter who graduated from the University of Oregon over the weekend. Marvin led the flag salute and Beverly Curtis gave the blessing.

Servers were Beverly, Sharon Kimberling and Luella Simrell from Grace Chapel. Our meal consisted of spaghetti, lettuce salad, garlic bread and pineapple upside-down cake.

Gift certificates were won by: Marjorie Harris, Prairie Drug and Hardware; Helen Cardwell, Chuck's Little Diner; Carol Magee, Lunch Box Deli; and Clayton Curtis, Mort's Barbershop.

Blue Mountain Nursing Home residents were Elva Lloyd, Ruth White, Pam Emery, Virginia Hymer and Susan Harrington. They were brought by Trish Coburn and Kathleen Du Buc. Harley McGetrick had to drive himself on his motorized wheelchair.

Dorothy Howard was a first-timer to me anyway.

Thanks to all who helped clean up the hall area and the tools.
