CANYON CITY – Trespass, poaching, predator control and other issues that concern private landowners will be the topic of a forum Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Canyon City Community Hall.

The event, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., is sponsored by the Upper South Fork John Day River Watershed Council is sponsoring the event, and the public is invited.

Speakers will include Trooper Marv Ritter, Oregon State Police fish and wildlife officer; Sgt. Gordon Larson, Oregon State Police; Ryan Joslin, Grant County district attorney; and Patrick Smith, Wildlife Services district manager. Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer is the moderator.
