JOHN DAY Orientation for the John Day Community Garden will be Saturday, April 5, starting at 9 a.m.
Anyone interested in having a plot, should attend. The cost per bed is $15 for 5x10 feet, or $25 for 5x20 feet. People should bring work gloves, wheelbarrows and other gardening tools if they have them, to help prepare the garden.
A noon meal of soup and bread, cooked in the garden’s cob oven, will be provided by the garden committee. Call 541-620-0719, or email johndaycommunitygarden@gmail.com for more information.
