JOHN DAY – A golf scramble, lessons with a PGA professional, special dinners and groups of friends made for a wonderful weekend.

The Blue Mountain Healthcare Foundation hosted its annual Fundraiser Scramble at the John Day Golf Club on Aug. 24-26.

The weekend started off with a steak dinner and story-sharing at the John Day Golf Club on Friday evening.

Special guest, PGA professional Brian Henninger joined guests for dinner and shared some of his experiences during the 1995 Masters with the crowd.

On Saturday, Henninger provided a clinic, sharing his expertise on stance and swing.

Sunday’s events began with coffee and pastries before the 9 a.m. tee-off for the 18-hole scramble.

Play was followed by a drawing, door prizes, an auction and barbecue.
