Spray High School Woodshop / Maintenance Building

Architects Project No.: 0502.SPR

Spray School District #1 (hereinafter referred to as "Owner") will receive bids for the construction of a Spray High School Woodshop / Maintenance Building.

WORK: In general, the scope of work includes construction of a 2,277 square foot building. Work includes, but is not limited to, concrete, insulated concrete forms, wood framing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, finish, and site work.

BIDDING: Delivered bids will be accepted on or before April 28, 2005 by Paul Young, Spray School District #1 Superintendent, until but not after 2 p.m. at the a Spray School District #1Office, 303 Park Avenue, Spray, Oregon 97874. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Facsimile and electronic format bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened at 2 p.m. of that day at the same location. All bids for the above-entitled public works project will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders must submit Subcontractor Disclosure by 4 p.m. on the same day at the same location. Subcontractor Disclosure shall be submitted in a separate envelope and shall be clearly marked, "SUBCONTRACTOR DISCLOSURE FOR SPRAY HIGH SCHOOL WOODSHOP / MAINTENANCE BUILDING."

Bids shall be made on the forms furnished by Owner, incorporating all contract documents, including a Bid Bond or Cashiers Check for minimum amount of 10 percent of the Bid Price. The envelope shall be clearly marked "CONSTRUCTION BID FOR SPRAY HIGH SCHOOL WOODSHOP / MAINTENANCE BUILDING" and shall contain the name and address of the bidder.

No bid will be received or considered by the Owner unless the bid contains a statement by the bidder that the provisions of ORS 279C.840, "Payment of prevailing rate of wage; posting of rates and fringe benefit plan provisions," are to be complied with. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120.

Owner may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner if it is in the public interest to do so. The protest period for this procurement is five (5) calendar days.

Bidders shall be licensed by OREGON CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS BOARD.

Bonafide Prime Bidders may obtain two sets only from Pinnacle Architecture, Inc., upon deposit check payable to Pinnacle Architecture, Inc. in the amount of $100.00 per set. Deposits will be refunded upon return of Documents, including any Addenda, in good and reusable condition and within 10 days of bid opening. Bonafide Prime Bidders are required to contact Architect for inclusion on the bidders list.

RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS: This Advertisement for Bids does not commit the Owner to award a contract nor to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of bids or the procurement of supplies.

NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the site on Tuesday April 19, 2005 to provide bidders an opportunity to verify existing conditions.

PERMITS: The selected contractor will be responsible for paying all local license fees and taxes, as well as permit fees that may be required.

WAGES: BOLI prevailing wages apply to work associated with this Project.
