The Grant County Shooting Sports Club announced its annual Spring Skeet League will blast off Sunday, March 6, at the public shooting range in Seneca.

According to league organizer Mark Bagett, the club welcomes anyone, beginner or experienced, who aims to improve their shotgun skills to attend.

Participants will have at least 12 weeks to shoot 200 targets at their leisure, with an awards potluck to be held sometime thereafter.

The Sundays of March, April, May and June are designated specifically for skeet shooting at the Seneca range, although shooters can log league targets on many other dates as well.

The skeet league, like other GCSSC events, is open to the public and entrants need not be club members to participate.
