I spent the last part of May, all of June and some of July down with bronchitis, and convalesced on the couch a good deal of the time. I lost a pound and a half from the weakened appetite, but now I'm in better health and have to watch out for those food cravings! They like to sneak up on me!

It's been great to focus on healthy living for the last six months. I haven't been perfect at it - I'm sure someone out there saw me with a cookie, an ice cream or a piece of Dixie Beard's homemade peach pie in hand! However, the long period of time we've spent doing this, I believe, will help us all carry forward with the little things we've changed for the better.

I have been absolutely amazed at how well many the challengers have been doing. It is very inspiring!!! I'm so pleased to hear of others having great results. I know if I work harder, the pounds will come off a little faster, but I'm glad for the small victories I've had anyway!

My next plan: Now that I'm feeling better, I'm going to take the plastic wrap off my new Denise Austin Pilates DVD and USE IT!
