KLAMATH FALLS - Sen. Gordon Smith, R-Ore., will attend the Crater Lake Centennial Celebration on Sunday, Aug. 25, in Klamath County. Smith will be joined by Honorary Chairman former Sen. Mark O. Hatfield.

Smith and Hatfield will participate in the Rededication of Crater Lake National Park to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Oregon's landmark. Crater Lake National Park was established in 1902 as the nation's sixth national park and boasts America's deepest lake, offering a wealth of scenic wonders to both Oregonians and visitors from all over the country.

At 1 p.m., Smith will visit Crater Lake National Park at the park's north entrance station.
