PRINEVILLE - The Central Oregon Songwriters Association will perform a benefit concert for Central Oregon Battering & Rape Alliance 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at Crooked River Park Amphitheather, South Main Street, Prineville. Donations and proceeds will be used for COBRA services in Crook County.

COBRA's mission is to provide comprehensive family violence and sexual assault services and promote the value of living life free from violence. Services include emergency shelter, 24-hour hotline, emergency transportation, respite child-care, children's services, court advocacy, information and referral to social services, support groups for women and children, peer support, community education and public awareness. Offices are located in Deschutes, Crook, Grant and Jefferson counties.

This event is sponsored by Crook County Friends of COBRA, Leadership Prineville and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
