SPRAY - Lack of scoring from the outside, particularly in the fourth quarter, allowed Spray to come back from a 40-37 third quarter deficit and hand the Monument/Dayville boys a 51-45 defeat in a TriCo League basketball game on Tuesday, Feb. 1.

Trailing 23-19 at halftime, the Tigers put 21 points on the board in the third quarter to take a 40-37 lead into the final eight minutes of action.

Spray outscored Monument/Dayville 14-5 in the final quarter to put the game away.

Carl Peterson scored a game-high 21 points and Brad Woosley added 15 to lead the Tigers.

Ryan Starr scored 18 points and Zane Bruce had 15 for Spray.
