Senator Ron Wyden will hold town halls in Lakeview and Klamath Falls on Friday, March 15, according to a news release.
Wyden will be at the Lake County Senior Community Center, 11 N G St., in Lakeview at 1 p.m. Friday, March 15, followed by a Klamath Falls town hall at 5:30 p.m. in the Oregon Tech College Union auditorium.
“Throwing open the doors of government and listening to people everywhere in our state is a big part of what I call the ‘Oregon Way’ that focuses on finding solutions that work,” said Wyden, who this year won asecond straight MVP award from the Town Hall Project for holding the most town halls of any senator in 2018.
Wyden has held 931 town halls statewide overall since promising Oregonians when first elected that he would hold at least one annual town hall in each of the state’s 36 counties.
“These open-to-all town hall meetings allow any person to ask a question or share an idea, and I look forward very much to hearing what’s on people’s minds in Lake and Klamath counties,” he said.
