Officers for the 2012 year will also be elected. The meeting is a change from group's regular gathering on the third Monday.

AARP driver's safety class

Co-ed dodgeball tournament

• 1 p.m., Grant Union High School

There will be prizes for best uniforms and team name. Winners receive T-shirts. The cost is $50 per team; players must be 16 and older. Proceeds support youth recreation. Evening of entertainment

Talents and Treasures presents the 2nd annual "Evening of Entertainment," featuring local talent and dessert. All local musicians, singers and other performers are welcome to show off their talents. Doors open at 6:30. Tickets are $5 in advance (at Prairie Drug and Hardware, Bar WB, Quilts and Beyond and Prairie Trading Post), $6 at the door, or $15 per family. Proceeds support arts in the community.
