Fire crews are working several blazes in Western Oregon as unusually dry conditions persist, the Oregon Department of Forestry reports.

The fires include:

• The Falcon Fire, at 50 acres Friday morning, and nearby Shingle Mill Fire, 30 acres, in ODF's Astoria District between Manzanita and Arch Capes. ODF and other agencies are fighting the fires, and a temporary flight restriction was issued in the area to prevent conflicts with fire aircraft.

• The 1, 2, 3 Complex – a trio of blazes – in the North Cascade District. The fires were listed Friday morning at 200 acres, 10 acres and less than an acre in size.

• Two new fires reported near Gates, but more information was not available.

• The 125-acre Alder Creek Fair, burning about 16 miles north of Shady Cove in Southwest Oregon. ODF, the Forest Service and private landowners are fighting the fire.

• In the Coos Bay area, two fires totaling about 300 acres are burning on the site of the Bone Creek Complex, which burned earlier this month. A third fire, the Weaver Ridge Fire, is at about 20 acres.
