The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of Grant County Thursday through late Friday night.

Snow is expected to develop Thursday across central Oregon then slowly spread north Thursday night, according to a weather service press release. Snow is expected Friday and may mix with sleet and freezing rain Friday night, then change to a mixture of light rain and freezing rain early Saturday morning.

Ice accumulations of up to a tenth of an inch are possible Friday night. Five to 10 inches of snow are possible Thursday through Friday night. Roads may be snow covered and slick.
