The Blue Mountain Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer program established to work for the benefit of the Blue Mountain Hospital and assist the various departments of the facility in any way possible.

Auxiliary members play a significant role in:

• Annual health fair

• Assisting at the senior center, delivering meals and serving at lunchtime once or twice a month

• Providing new mothers with gift baskets

• Making sure that patients and families have clean, accessible literature to read in waiting areas

The Auxiliary raises funds to donate towards the purchase of equipment, hospital facility projects and departmental needs. The Auxiliary raises funds through:

• The hospital gift shop

• The annual Christmas bazaar with Santa

• The annual rummage sale

The gift shop is located in the lower level lobby at the hospital. It is open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and staffed by the Auxiliary members. The gift shop provides all-occasion gifts and necessities for all ages including infants and children.

The Auxiliary is composed of persons who like to donate their time, energy, ideas and inspiration to help others. The Auxiliary welcomes new members and encourages people interested to contact Auxiliary President Chris Yriarte at 541-575-2545.
