Headed up to the northwest corner of the county for a little R & R?

Take along your favorite all-terrain vehicle, mountain bike or hiking boots, and plan to hit the trails at the Morrow-Grant County Off-Highway Vehicle Park.

About 9,000 acres – 2,000 of them in Grant County – await eager adventurers, with trails suitable for everyone, from beginners to experts.

Other amenities park include camping, horseshoe pits, a golf range, fishing ponds, playground and more. Outdoor enthusiasts will also enjoy the variety of wild animals, large and small, and abundance of native birds that inhabit the area.

The park is a partnership of local groups such as the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board and the U.S. Forest Service.

Morrow-Grant County Off-Highway Vehicle Park is located on Highway 207, 33 miles south of Heppner, and 28 miles north of Kimberly.
