Also for the Jazz, Derrick Favors added 17 points (8-12 FG), 11 rebounds and 2 blocks. Karl-Anthony Towns posted a game-high 26 points (9-15 FG) with 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the Timberwolves in the losing effort. The Jazz connected on 13-38 (34.2%) 3-pointers and assisted on 30 of 44 total made field goals. With the win, the Jazz improve to 39-29 and move .5 games ahead of the 8th place Clippers in the Western Conference, while the Timberwolves fall to 32-37 on the season and 7 games behind the Clippers.
